The terms on which this website is published. The products are governed separately.
These terms apply to archiveris.com, published by ArchiVeris Inc., a Delaware corporation with its principal office at 44 Bear Foot Road, Suite 200, Northborough, Massachusetts 01532. Using the site means accepting them.

What these terms do not cover
Jiwari, Kebiki and Teban are not covered here. Use of any Archiveris product is governed by the agreement under which it is supplied, and that agreement prevails over anything on this site. Nothing written here changes it, and nothing written here creates it.

Ownership
The text, design, photography and code of this site belong to ArchiVeris Inc. or to its licensors. Archiveris, Jiwari, Kebiki and Teban are our trademarks. The typefaces are used under their own open licences, which are published alongside them.

Reading, quoting and crawling
You may read this site, link to it, quote it with attribution, and index it. That includes automated reading: our robots.txt permits every crawler, the AI ones included, because being quoted accurately is worth more to us than being invisible. We ask one thing in return, which the law asks anyway: do not present our words as somebody else’s, and do not quote a page in a way that reverses what it says.
The exception is republication at scale. Copying substantial parts of this site to stand in its place is not permitted without our agreement.

What the site is, and is not
This site describes what we build. It is written carefully and we correct it when it is wrong, but it is marketing material, not a specification, not a warranty, and not professional advice. Product descriptions, worked examples and architecture diagrams are illustrative. If you need a commitment about what a product does, it belongs in a contract, where we are glad to put it.
The site is provided as it is. We do not promise it will be available without interruption or free of error.

Investor information
Our investors page explains why we are building what we are building. It is not an offer to sell securities, nor a solicitation of an offer to buy them, nor investment advice, and it is not directed at anyone in a jurisdiction where such an offer would be unlawful. It contains statements about the future, which are opinions held in good faith at the time of writing and are not promises.

Links out
Where we link to someone else’s site we are pointing at something worth reading, not vouching for it. What happens there is between you and them.

Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from your use of this website, or from reliance on anything published here. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Changes
We may change these terms. The effective date at the top will change with them, and the version in force is the one published here.

Governing law
These terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the law of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and the state and federal courts located in Massachusetts have exclusive jurisdiction.
